HEAT INSULATION TESTER
This tester is used to determine the heat insulation performance for the whole shoe. Place the specimen (a whole shoe) on the hot plate with a specified temperature for a certain period to examine the increase of temperature inside of the shoe. A sand bath heating with the hot plate which can be regulated up to 150° C to access the transfer of heat during the test and the thermocouple is fixed to the insole in the center of joint area and the steel ball is placed inside the footwear and the temperature is set up to 150° C and the temperature is measure after 30 minute. The rate of rise temperature is assessed accordingly.
