Pilling Tester
The Pilling Tester is used to check the tendency of textile fabrics to form pills under defined rubbing and testing conditions. During the test, specimens taken from the fabric sample are rubbed against each other, producing a ball-like appearance on the fabric surface.
After the rubbing process, the fabric is rolled around a roller tube and turned for a specified period in the winding box. The tested specimen is then compared with standard photographs to evaluate the result.
The GTX-PL7 is provided with two sample testing positions and an electronic digital counter for controlling and recording the number of revolutions.
